2003 was 12th annual Tour de China UCI registered as class 2.5 the highest-level race in China at this time,
570km tour consists of four stages, around suburban district of the Chinese capital Beijing's ring roads and ending in Tiananmen Square Nov 2nd. The tour attracted 15 teams from China,Japan, Mongolia, Australia, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and the Hong Kong
